A Chinese research team has proposed the world’s first “force–position hybrid control algorithm.”
Recently, a Chinese research team has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of robotic algorithms, proposing the world’s first unified theoretical framework for a “force–position hybrid control algorithm.” This algorithm enables robots to simultaneously learn both position and force control without relying on force sensors, boosting the success rate of relevant tasks by approximately 39.5% compared with strategies that use only position control. The associated paper was awarded the Outstanding Paper Prize at the Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL), marking the first time in the award’s history that it has been bestowed upon an all‑Chinese research team.

The convergence of force control and motion control: jointly exploring breakthroughs in the evolution of the embodied intelligence “cerebellum.”
As embodied intelligence evolves from “being able to think” to “being able to act,” the underlying motion control system—the “cerebellum”—is emerging as the key determinant of whether robots can truly be deployed in industrial settings. Along the evolutionary trajectory of this embodied‑intelligence cerebellum, force control and motion control represent two highly influential technical paradigms. The force‑control approach centers on tactile feedback, mimicking human fingertip sensing and compliant interaction, striving for “precise force application like a human”; the motion‑control approach, by contrast, hinges on trajectory planning and whole‑body coordination, emulating human limb coupling and balance regulation, with the goal of achieving “flexible locomotion akin to that of a human.” If traditional industrial robots are little more than “programmatic executors” that rely on pre‑set waypoints to perform tasks, today’s robots equipped with advanced motion‑control capabilities are already advancing toward becoming true “motion intelligents.”

The “Brain–Cerebellum” Collaborative Architecture Accelerates the Evolution of Embodied Intelligence
Currently, the deep interdisciplinary integration of artificial intelligence, mechatronics, control science, materials science, and neuroscience is underway, with the co‑evolution of robots’ “cerebellum” and “cerebrum” emerging as a key competitive focus in the fields of embodied intelligence and humanoid robotics. The “brain–cerebellum” architecture has been designated as a priority area for the development of the embodied intelligence industry.
Accelerate the industrialization of TOPCon photovoltaic cells
TOPCon photovoltaic cells are becoming an area where listed companies compete for layout. GCL Integration recently released an announcement on signing an investment agreement with the People's Government of Wanxi District, Wuhu City on the 20GW photovoltaic cell and supporting industry production base project, and reached a cooperation intention on investing in the construction of the 20GW TOPCon photovoltaic cell and supporting industry production base project. Industry insiders told China Securities News that since this year, with the continuous production of TOPCon battery project, the industrialization of this technology route is speeding up.

Study on Micro texture of "SE+PERC" Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Cell Texturing Process
In order to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization, photovoltaic power generation, as an important renewable and clean energy utilization mode, will be more and more widely used in China. As the core component of photovoltaic power generation, solar cells have developed rapidly in recent years. Among them, monocrystalline silicon solar cells have always occupied the vast majority of the market shares by virtue of their advantages such as high photoelectric conversion efficiency and good performance [1].
